Overview

The Town of Madison procured the services of BREC, P.A. as a result of a positive recommendation from the regulatory community. Initially, the project’s main focus surrounded a 15 foot vertical slope with exposed infrastructure that posed a hazard to park visitors. Once the project was evaluated by BREC, P.A. , a more holistic natural channel design approach was formulated. This approach provided for the realignment of the channel, created a bankfull bench, made use of in-stream structures and established a new riparian buffer
