Overview
 Cub Creek has long been a “problem area” at the center of the Wilkesboro’s downtown park. The client procured BREC, P.A. to create a master plan for restoration that included the stated goals of improved water quality, improved trail safety (adjacent to the channel), better hydrologic function, and increased in-stream habitat while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the park. As a result of the completed project, the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission began a more intensive rainbow trout stocking schedule.
